To Our Valued Customer,

First and foremost, I’d like to express my gratitude to you and your entity for the loyalty that you have
bestowed on Lombardi Gravel & Excavation, LLC (Lombardi Gravel) and me personally. If not for you,
Lombardi Gravel would not have grown over the past 20+ years into a solid Southeastern Connecticut aggregate
manufacturer offering quality products and services and employing over twenty full and part-time employees.
As most of you know firsthand, Lombardi Gravel is a family-owned business with most employees having been
employed for 10-20 years. Having spent the latter part of my career overseeing land-development, sitework and
gravel operations, it is hard to think about retirement. However, at this time, I’d like to announce the plans.

When considering retirement, I have felt strongly about ensuring that the principles that I have built my
business upon remain unchanged. Customers, as well as employees, are valued and deserve a supplier (and
employer) who aims to efficiently serve and accommodate their needs. Of great importance to me was the
current staff at Lombardi Gravel. The business is fortunate to have a group of individuals that are skilled in the
business, value working as a team and respecting the customer base. I also placed a strong emphasis on my
successor. I’d like to ensure that the company is going to sustain the reputation and standing that Lombardi
Gravel has managed to build over the years.

I’d like to announce that as of February 28, 2022, Lombardi Gravel & Excavation, LLC will be transferred to
the new owner, Bove Brothers, LLC. Bove Brothers, LLC represented by Albert and Francis Bove, will
continue to operate the aggregate manufacturing and sitework operations without any changes. The brothers
will skillfully continue to manage the business with their experience gained from growing up in family-owned
construction businesses.

You have always been a valued customer and your business is appreciated. Please expect to continue to
expect the same products, services and to work with the same dedicated staff. If you have established credit,
you can expect the credit to remain with no lapse. However, new credit applications will be sent out for
completion as a formality. If you are a Cash customer, please consider establishing credit with Bove Brothers,
LLC.
